I’m enjoying being home from my travels, getting the house running again, doing a little gardening, working with my 3 clients (my 3-day work week and 4-day weekend), and thinking about writing. Yet, I’m beginning to miss being in the market–except for my gold and silver stocks. I have started to shop-for-stocks again hoping that it will encourage the market to come out of correction. The market depends on Greece, the U.S. debt ceiling/spending cuts enacted, and the summer doldrums. Enough is enough, Greece and the U.S. House and Senate, get with it!
March: Spring break; all systems knocked out for two weeks by the “crud”
April: Less than energetic; working 3/4 time with my Ed Therapy dyslexic clients; a major withdraw from watching any news for 5 weeks which did improve my attitude toward life; started converting my “in person” Intro to Stocks class to an online class.
May: Closing out my Ed Therapy clients; Stock Market Game ending activities; a weekend trip to Houston for my niece’s retirement from the Army
June: Trip to the British Dyslexic conference in Harrogate, England, for most of a week and a week in and around Nice; back home and putting the house into running order, started two new dyslexic clients and one investing client (now working 1/2 time); getting people in to do some home and yard maintenance projects; creating a stock watch list in hopes that the “market in correction” won’t last forever; back writing on my Intro to Stocks online class.
July: back on track with home, family, husband, yard, dyslexic and investing clients, the stock market, writing my online stock class, and blogging!
