This chart is a good graphic of career possibilities within the next 10 years. I wasn’t surprised about Manufacturing (it’s just not going to be there) but I was surprised by the large growth in the Professional and Business Service industry. This chart comes from Clusterstock.

Employment Growth By Major Industry, 2008-18

Sunday’s performance of The Messiah by the Anchorage Symphony and the Anchorage Concert Chorus was one of the best I’ve heard in a long time. It included all my favorite sections and omitted my least favorite ones. The four soloists were from the San Francisco opera and sang with drama as well as with impeccable phrasing and diction. The symphony and chorus were in top form.
