The Messiah

Sunday’s performance of The Messiah by the Anchorage Symphony and the Anchorage Concert Chorus was one of the best I’ve heard in a long time. It included all my favorite sections and omitted my least favorite ones. The four soloists were from the San Francisco opera and sang with drama as well as with impeccable phrasing and diction. The symphony and chorus were in top form.
