Family Scene of Living Life in the Ordinary Way
L is in his chair in the living room watching Monday Night football on mute while listening to a Bloomberg podcast on his new iPod Touch and petting Leo. I am in my chair in the living room watching Monday Night Football and reading from my new Kindle. By the way, who’s playing football?
I love my Kindle. I can’t believe how my dyslexic brain loves it. The larger print and the fewer words per line make a huge difference—-so much easier and faster to read, and the automatic dictionary. What a relief after all these years of trying to deal with alphabetizing and finding a word in the dictionary!
There have been other things today. This morning I sold 3 stocks at about 18 percent profit. I decided I didn’t want to go into the new year with them. Now, it’s time to go shopping again.
This afternoon I had my close investing friends over for our regular weekly IBD stock discussion and a post Christmas lunch. It was fun to entertain. It has definitely been a while.
Tomorrow it is back to work with my two educational therapy clients, etc.
